iPhone Delete Changes Task Date

(closed account) says:
When I delete a task on my iPhone with the iPhone app, the task is often (always?) changed to have a date of 01/01/1970. (Epoch start, I presume.)

This has been the case for as long as i have had the app. 2 years?

Am I doing something wrong?

If so, and you're still expeniencing problems, can you let me know the repeat for the task you've deleted and any steps you take to make this happen?
