Iphone default list set to a particular list but adding default to "INBOX"

(closed account) says:
I am currently using RTM on iphone.
I have set default list to a specific list, yet adding a task in the front page (on the Today page) directs task to the "Inbox" (I didn't use smart add)

Is this a bug or a feature?
